That treble through the palm
That treble through the palm is bloody rough
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

yeah they hurt - note to self
yeah they hurt - note to self never take a pommie straight off the boat trolling for game fish! ((cause they get all excited when they land their first fish and when you try to show them how to romove the hooks whilst they're holding the 30lb tuna, and when that tuna decides to the the death rattel/shake you get a big treble in ya hand! BECAUSE THEYRE NOT HOLDING IT TIGHT ENOUGH CAUSE THEY "DONT WANT TO CRUSH OR HURT IT"......))

string hook removal technique....
Take a stout piece of small stuff (string to landlubbers) or mono and make a loop around the hook curve, press down on the hook shank and jerk the hook out the way it came in. Piece of cake and you don't waste $$$$ rushing to the ER. Look up the illustrations using google.com
