Interesting Peko you must
Interesting Peko you must love the strong wind? Each to their own I suppose. Bussogirl I used to frequent kalbarri a lot and found there was 2 main times of the year the mullas fired up. February the mouth absolutely fires but be prepared to fish shoulder to shoulder (I fish from a boat now). I have witnessed as many as 10 guys all on at once, hectic stuff.
The second time of year is late May early June and good numbers hit the mouth again without the plague of people. I have always fished late arvo into evening with most hookups just on or just after sunset
in saying all that kbarri is a special place where as long as you have a bait in the water your in with a chance. Would have to be the most consistent place in WA for catching them (with the exception of carnarvon jetty).
good luck

Fair comment about the wind
Fair comment about the wind but in the last 3 years I have had the best results for Mulloway and Tailor in November. Mulloway of an evening and very early morning but with the tailor I've stood side on in the wind and bagged out in no time.

I've got them all year round
I've got them all year round up there try targeting a time of the month wear there's a good moon phase near sunrise or set or close to a tide change for best chances of a mulloway last, October the mullas firing with alot of fish under a meter but still some bigger models also had a couple weeks there end June/July wear the fishing wasn't as consistant but much bigger fish 12-20 kg just had to work a little harder for them
