hey mate they are down at wagoe still but will start firing up north in the next cpl days with the ne winds startn to crank! big greenbacks being caught at chinnies on the right tide, got into a few the other night avg size 5-7kg fish! they are in spawning mode! mullas are around and so are the pinks off the stones just gota find places to go get em. Mullas are up to 15-20kg but gota put in the time and use the right bait fresh tailor is working well atm! you just gota persist w the trolling and try different depths and a bit of research with temps doesnt do any harm as its a mixed bag atm w the water temps around town! bottom bouncing is good atm depending where you go and if your in shallow enuf dont rely on ya sounder do it old style and have a peak over the side. last week cleaned up on the pinks in round the 15-20ft mark just gota find the ground and the fish will come. out in about 14-18fthm is good just look for the corally ground and semi hard bottom and the fish will produce! Cant say out wide cos it took me 10years to find that stuff so your on your own on that one but persistance and knowing how to read a sounder and picking up detail is the key out there to getting the good fish. That should help ya mate, im off to catch a mulla for dinner enjoy! tangles
