Heard today that some unlucky person lost his catamaran off the trailer when he was half way across the causeway.Road was blocked for a few hours by all accounts and major damage was done to the boat.
Feel sorry for who ever it was and most of all hope it wasn't one of our members

yep i drove past that on the
yep i drove past that on the way to the airport. think i was about the 4th car through.
mand what a mess!!!!!!
it was really weird, the boat was on its side across the road, the car was still upright, but the trailer was upside down??? but still on the tow hitch.
Very odd, only thing i can think of that happened, was he went onto the gravel and pulled back onto the road bit skidded sidewards or something.
made a big mess, both engines were screwed!!!
could be a right off.
my plane flew out 30 minutes later, and the traffic was backed up to Pluto main gate...and all the way into dampier.
Guys onsite told me they didnt get home till 7.30pm
ohh and it was a ali cat too.

Hydraulic brakes
With the hydraulic brake coupling it can turn any way round when not connected.Sound like the trailer has done a roll whithout the coupling coming off the car.

The boats called Sooz,
The boats called Sooz, lovely big cat, they do a fair bit of billfishing and you can usually see them from a mile off with the fully aqua blue hull and Cab, not cool.
