New member (Introductory post)

I have been following the forum for some time now and finally got around to signing up. I am not that experienced in fishing up here in Perth, Grew up in Albany and learnt from my grandad chasing leatheries, KGW and anything else that came along. I have lived in Perth on and off for the last 20years and have finally got my own boat. I have taken the advice and filled in my profile. Have gained a heap of general info from the site regarding Perth fishing which I am grateful for. I hope I can help others at times in the future.

I am doing a double shift arvo-night so thought it would be a good time to introduce myself. I usually get days off midweek and I am often looking for a deckie (no guarantees as I am just finding my way around offshore) I usually launch at Cockburn.

I've only been on here for a few weeks myself but welcome anyway! :) I already feel apart of the club. I grew up in walpole/albany myself, great place to learn to fish! :) Send us a message if you need a deckie mid week cos I'm always keen if I dont have much work on. Im not overly knowledgable in fishing perth but I'll gladly join you in your discoveries!

Marron in Bow River

Sat, 2009-08-08 19:44

Speaking of the Bow river I have spent plenty of time in days long past chasing marron in this river (not for many many years though)and in many of the other rivers in the aresa with some great catches. I guess if you were from there Adam then you would have done this as well?
