Killer Tailor Rig Cont

Hey guys, the killer Tailor rig thread has caused a bit of a dispute with a mate of mine over the best rig for tailor. I am a fan of the running impact lead, he is of the thought of the old three way swivel with the short leader for the sinker and vice versa, if he wants the bait to come up off the bottom. I said to him the issue with that is that you will get tangles occuring with the bait and sinker leader wrapping around eachother on retrive.
Obviously is situation dependent I guess for waht rig you choose but lets say for argments sake its your stock standard beach setting with moderate breeze.
Anyone got any better suggestions ?
Thanks

running bean sinker
Col - so do you go with a running bean on your main line down to a swivel with a 1m leader, or do you run the bean right down to the hooks.
I normally use a 3 way swivel and have tangle problems as mentioned above.

I use the running sinker
I use the running sinker rig only when chasing Tailor and find it works well for me. Have used the 3 way swivel ( tangled alot ) before meeting a nice bloke called Sherbs and with hi catch rate i took the advice ad have stuck with it.
In the end if it works for u then why change?
Still learning
