Land Based Ray

Caught this Ray at a secret location on a whiting frame it took some great runs of aproximately 80 metres but it tired pretty quick, it was about a 10 minute fight. I saw him swimming in the shallows so i quickly rigged up and casted the snelled whiting right in front of his nose and he inhaled it. I love sight
casting to rays in the shallows. The whole fight was completely visual.
