Lano out wide and eerie
Got up at gentlemens hours and headed off to Lano with Gav and Matt. I have never fished off there before so its was gonna be a day of exploring. Our first couple stops were in 35m but nothing seemed to be interested in our offerings. had some time up our sleeves as the fish didnt come on the chew til around lunch time yesterday so we ventured out to the 50's where i found a nice little lump. the size of the black arse we were catching were nothing short of amazing and there were heaps of just sized pinkies commin over the side as well. just after 11 i nailed a nice dhue of 14.5kg. Not long after Matts rod buckled over and it was smiles all round...until a f#&@in sambo popped up. The sambos were causing grief for the next half hour so with a cracker dhue and 4 huge black arse i called it a day and started to tidy the boat. Thats when Gavs octo jig took a whack! With Matt and I pissing ourselves laughing Gav battled the beast with a locked drag and not too much care at all. Didnt our laughter turn to high fives when an 11kg dhuie popped up! cant wait to get back up there
