Large rifle primers wanted

Bit of an odd request I know but with the restrictions on gun shops I’m looking at other alternatives. Was looking to do some reloading ready for a station trip when the internal travel ban is lifted and realised I don’t have many large primers. Have powder and projectiles though. If anyone has any they don’t require at the moment it would be much appreciated.
Send me a personal message on this site and I will get back to you.
Cheers Brad

 I've never reloaded before

Sat, 2020-05-02 19:07

I've never reloaded before but have hunted since before i had fluff on the scrot...

Think i might finally get my arse into gear and buy the gear and muck around...

I find sometimes i get too fussy and worry about everything being perfect but anything like that you get better with time...

I hope you dont mind me asking a question on your post Brad but what is some good branded gear to buy...

The hunting with Stu post was motivation to be honest!!

Rcbs is a good brand. I use

Rcbs is a good brand. I use the manual rock chucker. I'm sure Lee is fine too but I found Rcbs to be build stronger and tighter tolerance.. Lapua brass is good but projectiles will be very rifle specific

Lapua brass

You must have won lotto to shoot with that stuff, way back when if you were using that sort of quality brass you would fire a shot and make sure you didn't reload so the brass wasn't ejected and possibly lost.
Most of my brass used way back when was mf 5.56 resized to 222, and mf 7.62mm resized to 243.

I dont buy brass but buy quality ammo like Federal and keep the brass for reloading, I also like RCBS gear the quality is top notch,  ADI powders and usually Hornady projectiles

Happy to give you any advice I can

Cheers Brian
