Last few salmon trips

Here's a few photos from a couple salmon trips lately. Have been really lucky to fill in deckie spots on various boats and have met some great people in the process. The numbers of fish around the metro area are insane at the moment and the weather lately has been some of the best ive seen out on the water, making for some great fishing and cool photos.
The baitfish around town have been getting hammered, I wonder how much longer this scalie survived?
This was the most obscure object on the boat we could find at the time to throw at schools of savaging fish, snubber cord from the outriggers..

10 on fly is awesome Lyle! Ha yeah we've been getting away from the usual spots to find fish and have come across them every time without too many boats interfering. Really great to see families out there catching "big" fish, love seeing the kids holding on!

Haha yeah Grant I've shared the photos around to a few pages and have had a few approach me to ask for permission to use them which has been cool. I'm lucky i can combine 2 of my favorite hobbies together for others to enjoy.
