Anyone in the know care to share any info on these new rods?
Link here: http://daiwafishing.com.au/?p=8539
Main reason is a purchase by me is immenent (sp?) on a 10' rod, mainly for lures/poppers/jigs, also a very occasional bait. targetting salmon/tailor/snapper/mulla's etc
I see bluewater have updated their FB page that they are coming soon, interested in the new rod before I might jump the gun on what i'm considering being a 10' sensor surf or a 10'6' Kingfisher Stimulator (both maybe a bit light at only 6-8kg), or a heavier lemax president royal. The specs look good on paper and exactly what i'm after, again on paper...
Anyone have any info on ETA for this rod and/or approximate cost?

Have a look at the Shore
Have a look at the Shore jigging SJ96M. they are very nice. esp with a 3-4000 daiwa. I haven't seen the lateo 106M but i think the SJ will be a little more versitile will the slightly heavier casting weight of 60g
i don't drink water - fish make love in it!

I prefer the seajigger as it
I prefer the seajigger as it seems to be more responsive and I suspect it has a higher carbon to glass ratio. K guides aren't the be all
and end all of guides but the Eva grip on the lateo and the 50 odd bucks cheaper make it a pretty good buy. Take a look at the sea jigger 305 for comparison.
