Leaving W.A so here's some shots of the last 6 months

Well the time has come to leave the Pilbara after 26 years and follow the rest of Karratha to Darwin. So here is a collection of the fish over the last few months. It's been a blast and of course i will still lurk on here and hopefully convert these marlin pics to barra pics in time if i can shift my boat.

Best of luck mate, there are

Best of luck mate, there are quite a few good moments there, thats for sure. Karratha seems to be going into mothballs until the next big project fires it up again but I am sure that you will find Darwin as diverting as Karratha !

One question, I have been trying to find some robust stubby holders and I couldnt help but notice the ones fitted to your bimini and bait board uprights. If you are able, I would really appreciate if you could let me know where you acquired these.

cheers

$25 a pop at Whitworths, they work a treat, also good for putting your rig/sinker in when moving spots, we use them to put our pushers in when a fish is on as well to remove the hook risk and most importantly to keep the beers cold.

it'll come with me Mullows if i can't shift it locally. Plan was to get a boat a bit like Rob Telfer's when i got up there as well, Darwin isn't really like Dampier in regards to family boating but fishing wise i guess it's very similar to here in a way just with bigger tides and less time to get the fish having to target them on the change. I need the cash for a house deposit too somewhat.

Oh mate

Wed, 2015-08-12 09:53

Some off those shots just brings back happiness fishing wise. That sunset glass is a classic and brings back so many memories as I often cruised in late or at night. Man miss that.

Good luck with the move mate and I am sure you will find the Mojo. At least heard Mud crabbing is a blast up there in the creeks.

Are your captures still like this Brett (Mullows)?

That was sunrise on day 1 of the dampier classic looking back towards Gidley and Angel, nothing better than feet uop driving at 32knots.

I don't look forward to wrestling crocs for my pots back, the sharks here are bad enough for that!

A dampier Classic with glass off conditions. Surely cant be true. But thanks for that. Have been trying to work it where but had in my mind it was sun set, not rise so was totally wrong with my thoughts.

LOL.
