I like it andy.... Only ones I know of are up by 2 Rocks and Yanchep both with a nice ledge/ reef area but I never fished there and that was a while ago. Used to drive along the beach down to long point but that has recently been blocked...
Used to be able to get on challenger beach until very recently it has been stopped due to the inconsiderate people who will not learn that leaving rubbish and tearing up and down the beach, this will continue to make sure we have to drive further out of the city. You can stiil get on the south side of challenger beach via kwinana beach rd. Went down there recently and it too is headed in the same direction as the other beaches because now instead of half the population choosing between 2 beaches there is now only the 1. I am sure 99% of people take there rubbish and are sensible but it takes just 1 pile of rubbish to destroy a picture.

Would be good to compile a list
and have it in a permanent section on the site. Much the same as the boat launching thread.
If we had a few google map links as well it would be good for first timers.
Entry from:
Exit to:
Track condition in and out:
High / low tide issues:
Recommended tyre pressures:
Reef / gutter visability / advantage points:
Weed status at last visit:
stuff like that along with some pics.
Cheers

Good idea
Deffinately a good addition to the site i think.
If you go further south theres plenty of beaches you can drive on to fish. I regularly drive and fish at Myalup down here.
Mind the smell, ive been fishing!
