hey guys are there any boat wreckers in perth?
im looking for an aluminium project boat 15-17ft.
not fussed if it doesnt have engine just looking for hull and trailer
let me know if you have anything
also are there any wreckers in perth that do boats?

Just beware if you are looking at old pressed ally hulls
Some of them can last forever, but look hard at one thing--most of them have the pressed sheets inserted into an extrusion for the keel, and welded on the outside. If an owner gets really careless and lets salt dry out in the bottom, it can get into the that join and start to fester. Once it is corroded in there, you are pretty well stuffed. You can't grind it out enough to get weld to stick. Pinholes are also common in the bottom of the pressed strakes towards the back. But most of the better-known brands will last a long time indeed.

price
how much are you looking to pay, i`ve got an old quintrex 16ft centre console.
late 70`s eary 80`s. solid boat with with a 75 merc on the back. trailer and boat
regoed, it has been sitting for 2 years but was well used until i upgraded.
i`d be hoping to get around $1500
