any members living near or on grand ocean boulevard in waikiki, lock up your fishing gear. Some low lifes are taking everything they can from boats including epirbs etc. pretty active between midnight and 6in the morning. a fishwrecked member was done twice last weekend.+

Happens in all suburbs PJAY.
Happens in all suburbs PJAY. Neighbour had rods taken from his boat last month and we are NoR.... That never happens!!!!!
That's why I always take all removable gear out of boat where ever we are..... even when we go away. Is a pain in the @r$e fitting and removing daily but not as painful as replacing.
Only thing I leave in situ is the fire extinguisher.
Cheers,
David
PS... Some do it coz they can!

Active North and South
Yes Peter the stacer is now on the front lawn. Water test conditions weren't as choppy as I would have hoped so used other boats wake to test it. Seller was a bit iffy when I asked if I could remove floor to check welds etc.... but that was part of the offer. All OK.
Now just got to sell the old girl.
