First one looks like a seahorse nibbling on some grass!
Looks like some sort of fish to me.

Yep some fish
certainly looks like fish on the bottom to me, well worth putting a line over the side for. What size they would be would be any bodies guess.

Fishies...
As soon as bluedog mentioned a seahorse, i cant see anything but that now.. ha ha
I agree, first one is fishies for sure, and the third one. But in the second pic, the "fish" retains the same distance and shape as bottom directly under. I know when i see on my gear, this normally resembles vegitation a lot of the time.
There are a lot of dark colors in those arches.. Have you played about with your color setpoint a bit?
Keep in mind that due to only being in 5-7m of water smaller fish possibly give larger returns than they would in 15-21m.

Any time mate
Easy done bud. I used to run a HDS10 unit as my only sounder. I now running the HDS as the navagation and a simrad as the sounder, but close enough to the same thing (from my experience anyhow)
ive put some shots up in the past, and about to put a few more up from last break. ya will notice on my unit, on the left of the screen ya can see my setpoints for Color (C) and gain (G) Im forever playing around with them, but personally, ill tinker with the colour till i get a good range. Another thing which is a good idea is to play aournd with the pallet. For myself, i found the white background works well for myself.

Might sound stupid but that pattern looks a lot like a squid jig.
