Lowrance GPS Antenna

Hi Guys,
I have a Lowrance GPS with an LGC-2000 antenna (this has the NMEA blue connectors).
It looks like it has packed it in last weekend. I have swapped cables, connectors etc but it still looks like it is either the antenna or the GPS unit (LCX) itself that is had it.
Other devices on the network still work OK, so I suspect it is the head unit.
Wondering if anyoen has a "spare" one of these lying around that I can use to test with, and potentially buy if that proves to be the problem.
I'm in perth.
Thanks

Hey mateI had my Navman
Hey mate
I had my Navman GPS antenna pack it in.
Was looking like a few hundred for a new one, bought one brand new off eBay for $3 + $4 postage (non genuine, from Hong Kong).
Works just as well as the original, and actually acquires sattelites faster. Doesnt look as waterproof as the original, but have just mounted it behind the windscreen. At $7, you cant go wrong.
I'd be surprised if the same thing was not available for Lowrance units.
Might be a cheap way to trouble shoot

When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Thanks Dan,
had a look on ebay, all i can see are 5V units with NMEA -0183.
The NMEA connection should be fine. Just have to get 5V on the boat to do some testing.
Appreciated.

Check shops
A lot of the marine dealers should have a few spares lying around, picked up one when I wiped mine off one day.
