Lowrance Sonichub review
Submitted by milsey on Mon, 2016-02-22 20:10
Hey guys, I'm looking to replace the stereo in my little CC and am chasing any input from others who have, or have used a lowrance sonichub. I'll be connecting it to a gen 1 HDS 5 which is a dedicated GPS. The unit is already a little slow so I'm after info regarding if it will slow the GPS down even more, what the sound quality is like compaired with the Fusion gear and also if it detracts from using the GPS given it isn't a huge screen.
Thanks in advance
Miles

Mate it's the same gear as fusion ie speakers and blue tooth. It doesn't take up much of the screen as it sits on the bottom maby 10 mm that on my mate hds10 gen1 will be getting one for my boat soon

Beautiful thanks mate, the
Beautiful thanks mate, the speed issue was my biggest concern and none of the reviews mentioned anything about it slowing down.

Yup agree with Matty above
Yup agree with Matty above have on on me gen2 touch 7 takes bugger all room up on the screen plus can always hide it well I can anyway not sure on gen1. No sound expert but gives out a decent sound from the two speakers simple to instal
ps it maybe up for sale soon as we just bought a new boat and will be transferring me 2 lowrance units to the new boat and still unsure about the sonic hub as its already got a decent steereo on board so may stick with that so will be taken the hub out of the old boat to sell separately
