It's pretty straight forward.
It's pretty straight forward. Got the same engine, linked up no probs.
Give details of EXACTLY how you've got it hooked up, including NMEA backbone, and how you've hooked the engine interface to the engine AND the backbone.
Do you also have the NMEA digital gauges ?
At a guess, I reckon you'll still have the feed coming from he analog port on the engine, but let me know all details and I reckon I can get it sorted for you.

cheers Dizzy, at the request
cheers Dizzy, at the request of the suplier i have sent back the interface cable, they believe this may be faulty. Interesting you say about my gages, i havnt done anything different, i understood you leave them as is? maybe thats the prob? i want the interface to work but not at the expense of my existing gages.

In that case you need to
In that case you need to directly connect the interface at the engine, so I assume you've done that.
Port side, at the top / front(ish) of the engine - there are 2 ports, same shape / different colour (can't remember - think maybe 1 x brown & 1 x blue ?). - they're pretty obvious.
One is the Analog output (which will already be connected to your harness for standard gauges), and the other is Data. - Interface connector goes into vacant port.
Then you need to feed the other end through the main cable grommet to connect into the NMEA backbone.
I assume you've got the NMEA backbone all set up correctly & powered, with terminating resistors at either end, with the interface T'd in between the 2 resistors ??
