which model? I have the S63/3, great little jigging rod paired up with a 3000 stella. I use mine for lighter jigs usually 20g-100g has plenty of balls caught some nice fish on mine. Can use for plastics work, more up and down fishing than casting out into a burley trail mines a tad too short for that stuff.

Giant Killing is alright but I prefer the Alexander series but will steer clear of Crosstage.

Giant Killing

My fishing mate has the S63/3 - running PE2 over it (with a Daiwa 4000 reel). Jigs up to 130g (slow jigging).

Have watched him boat some very good fish with it, including good sized dhuies, blue groper and sambo's up to 35kg.

Nice rod for the money, in my opinion...

 Travisjohn, Own a crosstage

 Travisjohn,

Own a crosstage casting ( not jigging) and find the blank too soft with little to no backbone. Brought it to abrolhos caught a mackie on heavy sinking minnow and couldn't control the fish. The mackie was dictating the fight all the time and it wasn't big.
