Hmmm in the link Groovy put up there are a heap of pics and the marlin looses his tail a long way from the boat wonder if its a photo shop job? either way my hat off too the photographer
In some of the pics the mako appears to be attacking more midfish. There is no evidence of any midfish damage in the pic of the guys holding the fish missus its tails section. There is also no blood in pics 11 to 16 ...... ?? Doesn't look right to me.
...is that it was the fishing columnist for the local newspaper over there who jumped in the water/got the shots. Over here our guy sends our spines a quiverin' and knees a shakin' with REAL heart-pounding material, such as "How to catch herring with a Halco Twisty" or "Are cuttlefish any good to eat?" Dullsville strikes AGAIN!

I reckon the last thing
I reckon the last thing I would be worrying about if I was swimming 2m from a feeding mako in a cloud of bloody water is losing my fish!
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

They had this on ACA tonight, some unreal footage of the Mako chomping the Marlin
Would not have wanted to be in the water watching that between me and the boat

I thought something similar

Not sure the wireman would
Not sure the wireman would have had much luck playing tug of war with the Mako. I know I would have let it go pretty quick.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?
