Man's dinner sparks $100K boat fire

A cabin cruiser worth about $100,000 has been destroyed in Mandurah, south of Perth.
The fire started in the galley about 9:00pm as a man was cooking a meal.
It quickly engulfed the 10-metre boat, which was moored at the marina.
Firefighters were forced to protect nearby boats as they attempted to bring the fire under control.
The man suffered minor burns to one arm.
He was treated at the Peel Health Campus and was later discharged.
