Marlin Show in Exy

Another cracker day in Exmouth with my husband and his father who has flown in from interstate. Caught this little black who put on an awesome show. Enjoy the photos.

What equipment are you using to get action shots like that?

I think photography might just be my next avenue of study!

 Using a Pentax K-r digital

Tue, 2012-03-06 21:41

Using a Pentax K-r digital SLR, Sigma lens 18-200mm and finally a polarising lens. Sounds complicated but super easy to use. We flick it onto sports mode so it takes action photos in quick succession.

Photos were taken by my husband who was also manouvering the boat and offering words of encouragement when I got the marlin near the boat and it went for another big run!!

You have had some of the best weather we've had in a few years (in terms of so many days in a row)  Congrats on the little black and great photos.
