I assume you were trolling,
I assume you were trolling, What speed were you doing?
I've tried varying our trolling speed from 4 to 7 knots but can't get any mackies

love that sound of the reel peeling line and its metro area
Well done fishcrazy, My mate and I got our first metro mackies too, how good is this ,Picked up 2 mackies off two rocks on sunday pinged loads of bait fish soon as we passed over the 3 mile reef so trolled the reliable red and white and pink chrome halcos with a couple of teasers out the back and had two hook ups in 15 mins of trolling , rest of the day was dead and noticed the water was very green when the easterlies died, wondered if that had some effect on the lack of fish , didnt head out deep stayed in the 20 to 30 m range , still plenty of tuna around too .I Trolled at around 5 to 7 knts got to keep those teasers working let them know your around and the tuna love em at the end of the day found some serious bites in the leaders of the teasers so they must have been doin there job

Nice work Craig. Haven't seen a post from you in a while. Good to know you're still catching fish.
