mid-west mack

I went up to the mid-west over the last long weekend with the families and a few mates. due to the first few days of windy weather, we couldn't really get the boat out, but did some exploring up and down the coast a bit. ended up with some XOS tailor from the beaches, which was good consolation.

managed a very quick arvo troll on the last day, and had 2 good strikes. dropped the first hit, but picked this Mackie up on the 2nd hit, going 19 kegs on the lie detector.

heading back up that way for easter, so here's hoping for good weather, and a few more!

Solid! Did you get a length measurement? I took a length measurement of mine a few weeks ago but didn't get a weight so just curious to know a ball park figure of what mine might have gone

Nope, 2m

i never really have much luck with deep divers in general, although there was a bit of weed around this day, and I find the shallow divers tend to pick up less weed as well, so a 2m diver it was! The trusty King brown colour.
