Hi Guys

 i am heading to moore river in a few days with my 4.75 quintrex 40hp

i have fished there landbased a bit but not out of a boat before. 

I have a nautical map of the area and was planning to head out behind linda reef or villa de rouen reef for hopefully a dhui, asnapper or baldy.  am i looking at the right places here? any depths i should be looking for?

also if its a bit rough is there much good ground inshore of these reefs.

i dont have a gps yet (its on the wish list) so i expect to do alot of searching

also it looks to me if i head the north side of linda reef providing the swell isnt huge i should be able to get out behind it 

any advice would be great.
