Gday  havent been on here
much lately as i havent been going fishing much. The river mouth breaks
inconsistently so you would need to actually look at it to see if it is
broken it dosent always break just because there is some rain down
here, i usually go and check it out by going for a drive and actually
looking or im lucky enough my parents live up that way and will go for
a drive to check how the river mouth looks for me. The bream well i
dont usually have much sucess near the river mouth when its closed or
broken i usually wander along the north bank from the car park trying
spots i think look good and have varing degrees of sucess up to nearly
1kg but there are lots of little ones. If you want to catch tailor
fish the river mouth towards the ocean when the mouth breaks or head
north up the beach to the old rock groin infront of the light house. if
you have a 4x4 go up the beach from the groin to where there is a big
beach before the sand gets really soft and the beach narrows and fish
the southern side of the reef meeting the beach this is one of my
favorite tailor spots and often produces mulloway too. hope that helps
and if you want more info ill try to help.

Cheers graham
