Mulies or Scalies?

What do you like better to use?? Mulies or Scalies??

that depends, mulies are oiler i think and good if you buy good quality ones, local WA pilcards are the go. as long as their local they should be good.
scalies will last longer in surf or where crabs and pickers are plentiful.

Scalies (usually bigger) = mulloway

each have their purpose. as rig said. however mulies even if they are local do tend to go soft .scalies have a stronger skin and will stay on the hooks longer when the pickers are around. even better , if you can get hold of fresh baits its even better than both

more tailor on mulies and mulloway on scalies.
if fishing surf beaches go the scalies mate

scailies are good for bigger
scailies are good for bigger fish ie mulloway and bait casting for bigg tailor but mullies are good for all fish

gonna go against what others
gonna go against what others have said, i reckon if they were the same price per fish I would never buy mulies again.... scalies for me!

I reckon mulies are great
I reckon mulies are great for baitcasing for tailor, just because mulies are a tad smaller. If I need bigger bait for mulloway or snapper, I use blue mackies. I reckon there the best!!
