Tried Singleton last night as I was itching for a fish. Just starting to get circulation back into my extremities now.
Beach was pretty flat again already although at a higher tide would have been better but by midnight was too cold to continue . Fished a smallish hole, bit of weed around but fishable.
Mullet, whiting, cobbler, tarwhine caught on the light gear but the big baits were untouched by anything but crabs. It was good to get down to the beach again at least.
May give it another go next week after the weekends wild weather if anyone is keen to join me.
I've been hitting the beach at Secret Harbour pretty hard for the last few weeks and got nothing of merit. Slide baiting live Mullet and anchoring whiting and not a sniff from anything. We got some nice gutters last weekend but just wasnt anything in them. Plenty of bloody Tarwhine though......hate Tarwhine soooo much.
Bit of weed down here at the moment but the beach is pretty stired up again so might be worth another fish in a couple of days.

Godders!
Not that I'd tell you Godders!
After that behemoth you caught at Oysters a few years back I think you have filled your lifetime quota!
There has been heaps of surf through there though!
Give me a call mate and I can tell you about my latest trip North, away from the crowds, BEST EVER!
