Flood watch

Tue, 2010-12-28 10:00

There is a flood watch in progress for the Murchison river through the gorges with lots of tracks closed due to flash flooding as the peak moves down stream. All the main raods are not affected.

 and the chocholate brown Murchison is s sight, that's for sure. There is a brown cloud that stretches probably for about 3 mile off shore. The water coming down the Murchison is still moving at a fair pace.

 Have been in Kalbarri prob

Tue, 2011-01-04 14:12

 Have been in Kalbarri prob 3-4 weeks after a cyclone going through, same scenario with dirty water going for miles out.
Made for good fishing along the line of dirty & clean border.
The clear water just started to push it's way up past Chinamans when we were there and some good Mulloway were caught!! (-;
