Murray River / Peel Inlet, WA ....any good for long weekend [?]

As per the above post we will be heading that way for the upcoming long weekend.

I've never explored the system, but I also have read of the recent fish kills due to the massive runoff due to rains

So - is it worth hitting the system or heading out into the bay if the winds are favourable ?

I'll be in the tinny (4m)

 I would fish the serpentine

 I would fish the serpentine instead, or flats of estuary.

Personally i'd be turned off by the fish kill.
