dont fish at myalup go to binningup just a bit further away down the road from myalup. its a reef. and tailor have been going off huge there. went to binningup on the weekend caught 3 39cm tailor and then went to myalup caught 1 herring lol
i went to myalup went about 5km down the ebach there for a few hours and we lost 1 mulie nothing touched our baits for 2 hours, but still had a good time drinkin ;) binningup is the go
My neighbour(deckie) did a family trip to myalup about 3 weekends ago and brought 18 tailor home along with some sand whiting etc... I have to believe him cause we used the tailor heads as bait when we went and got our boat limit of crabs in the swan yesterday!!! Stoinker crabs too!!!
wev'e beeen bagging out on 30 cm yellowfin whiting there over the last cuppla weeks with plenty of herring too. Bloodworms the bait of choice! plenty of big crabs too if youve got a dinghy.
Heading down there on the weekend, were you catching the yellowfin off the beach or in a dinghy? Always love fishing on that beach.. I remember back when I was a kid we used to catch 100+ off the beach between the 4 of us. The limit was 40 each back then though! My dad used to spend the rest of the day filleting haha

i always thought myalup was the best place for tailor when i was younger bt have been to binningup a few times and never been disspointed yet
