Nanga station

Does anyone know what the lauching facilities are like at Nanga station? I've been asked to go up later in the year and have a 6.5M glass boat.
I'm a bit concerned that it may be a bit heavy if the ramp area is all sand and too shallow.

That whole area is shallow
That whole area is shallow and sandy. I haven't been there recently but we used to launch at denham and steam down for the week. Just grab a mooring for the week.
Does anyone know where the love of god goes, when the waves turn the minutes to hours?

Was there in march last year. The ramp does have some concrete there but it gets covered by the sand so it is a solid launch area. We launched a 7m ali every day with no problem at all.
When the tide is out you may have to get the cars wheels wet but on a half or full tide you have no problem at all.
Top spot for fishing up there. What are you heading up there for?
Sometimes when the water is quiet, you can hear the fish laughing at you !

Hi Madmerv, going up fishing with about 5 mates. Haven't been for over 20 years so should be fun. Need to check on the new regs beforehand. Thanks for the reply, will most likely not take mine up, should be able to get a berth on another boat.
