Just wondering if anyone on this site is entering the Naturaliste bluewater classic. The competition is held over a three day period(9,10,11 march) this weekend wether it will be held off because of the weather or not im not quiet shore. There is three sections with landbased, bottom and game, plus heaviest dhuefish, salmon and there is good prize money to be won, so might have to enter and do the land based section myself till then happy fishing.

Good Luck Dan!
Make sure you wear your fishwrecked shirt when you collect your prize for champion angler.
Weather looks nasty up here for the weekend so I have had to reschedule the Coipasa Classic again. At this rate it will be April before we can get a good day on the water during the weekend.
Cheers

Probably not
Picked up an entry form today and have toyed with the idea of doing land based and chase salmon and stuff but don't think I will. Plus I haven't got a babysitter for the weekend.
Kinda hard dragging a 2 year old around while I'm trying to fish.
Last time I took him he tried releasing all of my bait then going for a swim...

Misses is a managing director of child car centres and has been for years with a bit of nannying in between. That keeps her very busy but has been wanting kids for ages. I told her she can whenever she likes but she got bad spending habbits on fishing gear.LOL. I wish>

Mine has too. She went out and bought 2 tackle bags and a gps today!!!
On a side note though it is certainly nowhere near as hard or as bad as I expected or was told.
Can't wait til he gets a bit older and we can both go in the classic

Yeah i was in the trailcraft
Yeah i was in the trailcraft that was tied up as you were putting in at quindelup, bottom fishing was slow but the top water was firing.
The usual Yellow tail kings were everwhere taking any lures got a few bottom fish like red snapper, harliquen, blackarse and skippy hooked a few unstoppables. we decided to push out deeper and came across a school of tuna (3-4kg) working so we pulled up and they just hung around under the boat in full veiw! Nailed a few of them on the same poppers and minnows we were using for the YTK's even one on a jig. looked out in 86mtrs of water but no joy.
Called in past the limps again on the way back to find the kingies still going hard but we managed to pull a Dhuie out from underneith them
Never seen it so calm out there
