Nauti-Craft, hull suspension.

Interesting design in the testing. http://youtu.be/Nor6h3c8TYc

Very interesting idea,
One thing I'd like to know (not shown in clip) but does it sit down lower at rest or not, pretty high up from the water to fish from (gaffing/netting etc).

i reckon

you would be able to lower it and lock it down. loose the suspension but brings it closer to the water.

would have to be able to do that for trailering. Wonder what the beam is ?

Rough conditions

Mon, 2014-07-07 15:01

Whilst the concept is great would be interested to see how it perfoms in a 25knot Fremantle doctor with short 2m seas. Conditions of Dunsborough look relatively calm compared to the open waters of Perth.

Rough conditions

Just stating as in the video conditions looks pretty easy. Would like to see how it handles rough conditions. Whilst we go out when calm it can turn nasty quickly especially if you are 20nm of the coast.

Heard too many stories where people did boat trial on the river and all seemed ok until they took it out in the open ocean.

Looks like motors cop a lot more spray than normal, can they handle it?

Wow, in the last clip towards the end, those motors are copping an absolute drenching.

Something to think about

certainly will decrease bang bang on the rough seas. Not sure coming come with a big swell/sea following you in. Dont like multi hulls in those conditions.
