New Ajiking Samson-Z jigging reel

G'day all

Just a heads up on the new Ajiking Samson-Z jigging reel.  These bad boys have just come in over the past couple of days, I haven't seen them yet so I can't comment specificially but the spiel on them is below... I'll post something more detailed when I've had a look / play and know a bit more about them.  RRP is around $420.  If any of our list of stockists don't currently have them they will be able to get them in if you want to have a squiz.

Bit dubious about that one, or why you would need it/be able to fish with it

50kg is just a gimmick even

50kg is just a gimmick even if it can put that much out. you could never use that amount unless you wanted to tie an anchor on the end.  but will be interesting to see if its any good. i learnt the hard way that cheaper reels just dont cut it when it comes to jigging!

Perhaps the 50kg of drag is

Perhaps the 50kg of drag is when locked up (and certainly no freespool). Will be interesting to see how a few of them hold up this upcoming sambo season (waiting waiting waiting)

Brody and I measured off

Brody and I measured off 15kg of drag on my Torsa 20 today and it is pretty tough, I can't really imagine a situation where 50kg is required.
Still, nice looking reels, looking forward to checking one out.

Pity about that crossbar, it looks to be in a really annoying spot.
