New to Crays

Hi Guys,

I am a regular boat fisherman and this year I would like to start putting down a few cray pots as well.  Problem is that I can usually only get out say once a week.  I would have thought that I shouldn't leave a couple of pots out for a week.  Is it more noraml to got back and get them the next day?

Does anyone leave their pots in the water for a whole week?

Have had a few weeks where we could only get out once or even a bit longer and they have still had crays.
Today my mates went out after leaving them in for 7 - 8 days and had 12 in one pot.
Biggest issue is growth on the rope making it slippery.

Now is the time, get em in!!
