Hey guys looking to buy a new reel for landbased fishin.
was looking at either a Daiwa BG5000 or a Shimano Saragosa 10000 what do you think is best to suit my Daiwa lateo 7-15kg 11ft rod gonna run 40lb-50lb braid
Thanks in advance

Saragosa is completely
Saragosa is completely waterproof, very handy when you're fishing a rockwall in a storm when the reel get drenched or on the beach where the odd dunk is inevitable.
If the gosa stretches the budget a bit have a look at the Spheros

I haven't used a Daiwa but I bought a Saragosa SW 8000 in January and it's been terrific.
I was previously using it on a 10' Fin-Nor, now I'm using a 12' Penn Prevail and the combination is great.
I can recommend the Saragosa, a good reel for shore-based fishing.

You can also get an extra
You can also get an extra spool for the Saragosa reels for around 100 bucks, which is handy if you want to have a lighter braid for better cast and a heavier one for targeting big fish.
