The pots utilize an artificial crab and a pressure activated light (as shown in picture) to lure octopus into the trap. Once the octopus grabs the crab it triggers the door to shut down with force containing the catch inside the pot.

The RoboCup
Our shipment of the RoboCup has arrived, the universal cup holder that can clip onto both round and flat surfaces of nearly two inches in size. The RoboCup is great for Boat/Camping use as it has the two cup holders which can also be used for storing valuables, as well as having a removable plug on the bottom so you can use them as rod holders!
This universal tool can clamp by simply pushing the two cup holders together, and has an extremely strong grip by using heavy duty stainless steel springs, built to keep the holder firm in place but also last a very long time.

We have just received a top up order of our Deep Drop Flashers. The Deep Drop Flashers are a must for deep water fishing and are proven to make a difference for species such as: blue eye trevalla, bass groper, hapuka, grey band, ruby snapper, swordies and many other deep water species.

One stand out product that we have received from Jigstar that we think is very impressive is the new Katana jigging and popping braid. The line is an X8 strand, using 8x Japanese made fibre.
Katana braid is smooth, and also very thin but high strength. We have stock of the Katana in multi-coloured, available in 300m, 500m & 1000m spools from PE2 - 8.
This braid is up there in quality compared to your Ocea and Gosen and is quite reasonably priced (prices differ for line lengths and ratings).
