New Reel

Hello fellow fishers,
Today i treated myself to a early xmas present.
I bought a shimano Tekota 700 overhead reel.
Has anyone else got one? Whats your thoughts on the reel?
Thanks

Hi Ya,

Got one, but not used it yet.  Well, not really true, but the fish I caught on it wasn't big enough to test it.

Mine's spooled up with 65Lb XDS.  No mono backing.

Cheers.

I bought one when they were

I bought one when they were first released spooled it with 50lb tuffline solid reel but find it a bit heavy to fish with all day so it gets neglected.Bouttime has one and has given his a flogging on all different kinds of fish and it is still going strong if that gives you an idea
