New Saltiga 4000

Hello All
Well the new 4000 and 4000H saltiga 2010 are now available and in stock. After fishing with mine over the weekend i would have to say this is definaitly my favourite reel so far and alot nicer then any other spinning reel i have owned.

What type of dollars are we talking Luke?

Cannot fault them Luke, I have the new 5000h and have given it a nice workout recently in Broome. Still havent needed its full potential however i now know i can rely on it if needed.
My next purchase will be the 3500 Saltiga and my reel range will be complete. Until something else is released.

jeremy, Daiwa Australia are not bringing in a 3500 model, they are only bringing in a 4000
They are selling for $1099, personaly i think it is alot better then the stella 5000 which is the same size but each to their own

Seeing there is not much difference between the 3500 and the 4000 i could manage the 4000

linear rotation indeed that's new!

I dont know which part they
I dont know which part they are talking about, but linear rotation can mean when something rotates at the same speed. I.e. it doesnt get slow in one part and speed up on another.
Perhaps its about the spool oscillation.
Either way, whatever it is, its mostly marketing :p

Ive got the 4500 and they are an awesome reel!
Picked up a nice 6kg or so longtail off Cervantes on the weekend and it handled it beautifully.
The only bad part about it is that my mate Jarrad then got a 10kg longtail on my outfit 20mins later hahaha, spewin'

Yep played with one the other day,think my stella 5k may be for sale soon but am still a bit worried about the mag seal and sand(will be used spin of beachs alot)Can't fault my 5000h though.

Yeah your right i'm changing my signature to grayzeee is a troll...All reels have a place still use spinning reels of the beach,just use overheads for casting distance and line capacity.Spinning reels are still king for ummmm...spinning.
