hey everyone,
not new to fishing but new to jetski fishing! just got myself a 2010 FX SHO Cruiser and going to make up a fishing box/esky/rod holder for the back. heading up to Exmouth in the new year to give it a crack are there any tips or good ideas to add to the ski to help me along, will probably look at putting a GPS and sounder on in the near future. cheers!

Yammys have a big area at the back which is real good for fishing. Before you build something think about connection points like where you can strap it down. Some people have a cutting board drilled into the lid, rod holders on angles in the sides, and I was thinking maybe drilling in a tool holder inside just for the bits and pieces you need handy when dealing with fish.
If you do get one set up post a pic- Im struggling with designs for my seadoo :( haha

yeah I have a few ideas about how I am going to make the icebox at the back, has tie down pints which will be perfect for holding it down - like you said have angled rod holders, a case for lip grips pliars etc. and im going to have the bait board fix to the side of the ice box so you can still open the lid with the bait board above so you can grab what ever you want out without loosing all your bait off the esky lid. ill make something up over the Christmas holiday and post pics ASAP!
