275
How come you're getting rid of the 275? Im tossing up between it and the 265lh. The more i read i think the cone angle might be too wide for what i want on the 275.

Happy with the transducer
Happy with the transducer itself but with the way my transom is shaped i'm restricted to placement of transducer so its hard to get the readings i want at speed and am looking at a Cm275lhw(wetbox)
In 70m on high frequency its around 30m dia cone , only 15m each side of boat ( not alot in my opinion) good for finding the fish. I can have split frequency and the 65khz on a 16deg cone will pin point the fish.

I ended up with the
I ended up with the tm275lhw, so I have a counter rotating gearbox on my boat, so I mounted the 275 on the passenger/left side of the transom , it works fine but the prob I have is that it kicks up so much water/spray on to my motor/cover that I'm afraid it will start damaging the paint on the cowl or water will get into the motor/under the cowl, does anyone else have this problem? I will post up a video wen I'm out next.
cheers

Look
Look at one of these. Common issue if your transom mount transducer is set low to read better

Cheers guys , I'll try the
Cheers guys , I'll try the spray sheild first, as the extension bracket thing looks like it may be bit flimsy with the size of the transducer attached.
cheers again
