Looks like a lunar wrasse.
Looks like a lunar wrasse. But the colours in that photo are just so vivid compared to other pictures I've seen, so either thats a good specimen and photo or its a similar species?

I did acually se them forsale at a perth pet shop , you will need a full saltwater set up though.
They were babys and $25 each

Marc,
Ya see em near the far eastern end of the fault line (i think folks call it tailor point). Some nice parrotys and baldys there too.
Spectacular colour picture, must be a good camera.

quobba too
when a mate and i fished at quobba there where heaps around just big nuisances really
