I am interested in your interpretation of the sounder image - left side (bottom lock) above the dark red band that I would interpret as the surface of the sea bed; do you reckon the lighter red verticle lines are rocky outcrops, or fish? I am not sure whether all ground ( includign rocky outcrops / bommies / reef) is depicted as the flat horizontal surface with everything above ethat being fish, or if only the echos that are separated from the groud is fish?
put the camera down once we had a couple of drifts and was a good mix of bait fish dhuies pinkies queenies sambos and a few nannies.Dhuies might not of been hungry.Trying to get the recorder to work on the camera and will post video next time.

Those lines above the lock
I would interpret as fish, either bait or larger fish. The echo's clear from the bottom is fish.
