Nice little Blue from Esperance

Caught this nice WBG on Wednesday at one of my fav fishing spots, east of town. Sight casted a rock crab onto his nose and it was all too easy on my 9 wrap Snyder and trusty Spinfisher, drag nearly locked up. Good thing was I caught same size one 2 years ago in the same spot.

Nice work Woody. Land based or did you boat to an island and fish off the stones there?

Landbased Big john...just happened to have a tender from True North pull up for a gander just as I landed it. Puts the pressure on when you have an audience but they loved it anyway! Big thanks to my young fella Torin for gaffing it.
Not really sure who had chartered True North either...some rich buggers!! 4 centre consoles like that one hanging out of the stern!!

Spent three days at Alexander Bay earlier this week, great part of the world. My first time down Esperance way.

Yeah I gorged on abs, crays (brought down from Perth), coronas and caught a heap of Bonito and some SBT's on the troll. Fished with a mate who lives in Esperance.
