I have heard that near the fuel jetty by spinnakrs cafe is good, but havent had much luck there. Caughht a few at aqwa jetty last week. Went back the next night and caught nothing.
You will need a good quality jig. I was using a pink/red harimitsu and it worked much better than the cheap jig the guy next to me was using. The squid werent even looking at his.
Squid were smallish and very shy. Good luck

I got a small cuttlefish from behing spinikers on the inside of the north wall but that's all I got, they have a big light that shines right into the water
