North Sulawesi

Hi All,
I have found myself leading up to a week or so of R&R in North Sulawesi, Indo. I hear the diving is all kinds of special, however I can't seem to find much at all about any fishing options available.
I, in hindsight, stupidly left my travelling set-up at home so I'm really hoping there's an opportunity to do perhaps a jigging and popping charter with gear inclusive.
I may be a little ambitious in what I'm hoping for, but hopefully someone may be familiar enough to give some recommendations or advice for the area.
I'll be initially in Manado, then willing to travel wherever catches my interest.
Thanks in advance!

if you are really lucky, you
if you are really lucky, you might find a local with a few fishing rods and a boat. offer them a few hundred bucks maybe even less and im sure they would be happy to take you out. I had some epic fishing from a local in bali who happened to have a few rods under his beach shack. had a chat and next day i was out fishing for $100, caught some huge wahoo and massive bull mahi. Im not sure about actual fishing charters but hitting up the locals is definetely worth a try.
Although be warned you could risk getting taken for a ride with no intention to catch fish. could go either way.
Good luck!!
Fishing and catching are two different things. But i want to learn how to catch.
