ok i promise this will be my last bent street boat ramp rant

next week will be 6 weeks since it started , the whole job was supposed to take 6 weeks and they haven't finished the right hand side , as usual rocky council has let it get out of control , lots and lots of people that use that ramp are getting more and more pissed of , every time you go down there slack arse work force are sitting in the sea container having a brew up and have their ute parked in the disabled parking spot , not realy their fault I suppose if our local council is letting them get away with it no wonder out rates went up wopping 7&

You mean to tell me, that theres a government funded construction project, that might not finish in time?? holey shitballs!

Get over it pete. Remember the 2 rocks ramp bullshit 2 years ago. Took them nearly 8 months to get that opened again, which was 6 months more than it shouldve.

TR ramp was a complete F--up. Had to re-do the laying of the ramp concrete as they did it wrong the first time.

All finished now and i think it is a discrace. What they have now would have been perfect 20 years ago.

I dont think how long the jetty is taking has anything to do with the rates going up. They would have a tendered price and it would stay the same no matter how long it takes. There not having a brew every time you go there. At  least everyone will have a nice new ramp to use in the christmas holidays. Just my two cents worth.

And I hope you stick to your promise.

Apparently the beach

Tue, 2015-11-17 10:11

Apparently the beach launching ramp between Donald Drive and June Road is on the agenda for an 'upgrade' - now that has me REALLY worried.

From what I understand the council got a $90,000 grant just to decide what to do there - 90 grand???
