Okuma X Factor rods

Hi all,
Trying to decide between 2 rods for a new combo and just after some advice/reviews. The reel will be a Stradic 5000 and deciding between the Starlo Stix 9ft shorespin and the Okuma X Factor 9ft.
So was just wondering peoples thoughts on the X Factor rods? I've got a starlo Stix on my bream setup and have been very pleased with the performance but never used an Okuma rod before.
Cheers Sam.

id go for the okuma, bloody good rod, built better than the starlo stix and is much stronger and nicer to use.

I've got a Stradic 5000 Fi
I've got a Stradic 5000 Fi on a 9ft Shorespin and I love it! Cast 40 gram slices and unweighted mulies a mile.
A mate of mine has the 9ft X factor. I've tried it and I prefer the Starlo Stix.

Bugga!
Bugga well that makes the decision harder haha. Anyone else wanna reccommend either one?
Im undecided still, i know the Okuma is probably better built but have never used one, where as ive got a different style starlo stix and has been awesome so far.

Shimano
Go the Starlo bud. I see these rods sell day in and out.
Value for money the new Shorespin will be ideal, seen too many returns from breakages of the X-factors.
Cheers,
Sam

I have a precision x 10-15kg
I have a precision x 10-15kg 7footer and I reckon it is an awesome rod.
Have a lot of other higher 'quality' sticks, but for most of my light boat and shore usage, this one gets picked
When asked by a non-fisherman 'how many fishing rods do you really need?' the correct answer is either:
n+1 (where n is the number of fishing rods you currently own); or
n-1 (where n is the number of fishing rods which would cause your significant other to dump you.

Jewel
I'd go for a Shimano Jewel 9ft shore spin. I have the 9ft Starlo but would have waited and happily paid the extra 40 or 50 bucks if i'd known that the 9 footer was being added to this years Jewel range.
Just to throw a extra spanner in the works its worth a look mate, quality rod.

precision x are a great rod
i have a 2-5kg 2 piece with a 2500 sol on it and it has served me well for about 5 yrs......i have caught salmon to rays (smaller ones) and a lot of bream and flathead......it stands up to the test every time and dont look like ill be getting rid of it soon....and the good thing is they are relatively cheap from memory.. mine was only $130....but as most people have said they are a really good rod.....

Well decided to go with the 9ft Starlo Stix Shorespin rod. Just did a quick ring around and no one has any in stock, or are waiting for the new 2011 upgraded version if im correct? Any ETA on this newer model hitting stores?
Anyone know a shop in Perth that has any in stock atm? , was hoping to pick one up friday along with the stradic.
